　　09年的春夏裝在設計師Peter Som 眼裡應該是雙重的：款式上，既有精明幹練的職業西式套裙；又有優雅性感的休閒裙及裙褲；色彩搭配中既有清新淡雅的銀色和銀灰為序幕、又有光鮮亮麗的藏青、橙紅、玫瑰紅等做後續，而面料的選擇，依舊沿襲了他低調內斂，有金屬感光澤為主的風格。設計裁剪的簡潔清爽，使得Peter Som更具可穿性，也成為了眾多女士青睞的選擇。

　　低領、方格，再配以護腰的寬版皮帶，顯示了年輕OL的幹勁十足；而穿著寬鬆、輕盈的各式襯衣、短裙、短褲的時髦女郎就像是漫步在沙灘等待情人的到來年輕女子。而這一季最大的亮色莫過於Peter Som設計出了帶有和服味道的收腰連身裙－－但又不同於厚實嚴密的日本和服。低低的領口，寬大的裙擺，皮質的束腰帶，在輕盈的步伐中就可將女性曼妙的身姿一一展露，這也是這位年輕的設計師獨具匠心的地方。女性的解放，不應只是一句口號，首先就是要將女性的身體解放。而這種和服式的裙樣，獨立中也不失女性的溫柔。

　　除了和服味道的短裙，整個這一季的細節設計上，也突出了Peter Som在簡潔裁剪中依舊懷有的那顆浪漫的心。用阿拉伯的勞倫斯裝飾做點綴，流動的精緻絲綢在玫瑰色暈染中越發顯得光亮，再配以閃耀著的串串流珠，無不顯示出了美國新星設計師的潛質。
